BURNS NIGHT 2023

January 2023 saw our first DLSC Burns Night Supper at Madehurst Cricket Club.

The place was awash with tartan, as our ladies and their partners were greeted by two fantastic pipers. We were treated to an absolutely stunning menu of traditional Scottish food, synonymous with Burns Night, beautifully cooked by DLSC ambassador Heather.

As the Whiskey, prosecco and vino flowed, we competed in a Scottish themed quiz (thank you to Sam and Russ for compiling this) and suitably heckled the traditional addresses to the Lassies and the Laddies.

This was brilliant night and everyone really bought in to the Scottish theme for the night. Definitely one to be repeated in 2024!
